Where to start… I first began my electrolysis treatment on my face with Felipe in Oct 2018. I have naturally curly hair (Afro) and have always dreaded wet shaving my face as it ALWAYS resulted in blood and cuts and tiny nicks which does nothing for your confidence! Also I’m originally from Belfast where our water is very soft which didn’t help and after years of laser hair removal (which did a brilliant job!) it was time to concentrate on the thicker more stubborn hairs as shaving also encouraged a lot of painful and unsightly ingrown hairs too. I began having my electrolysis treatments with Felipe (in the beginning) once a month and he always takes time to explain what he’s about to do and always asks whether it is painful and I am comfortable as soon as each treatment begins. I’ve been told that my pain threshold is very high although now 6yrs on (we had to stop during covid naturally) we’re coming near the very end of my treatment and now concentrating on around the mouth and lips area it is very sensitive so I try to come early for my appointment and apply numbing cream to the area. The treatments are always unhurried and in a nice clean air conditioned room and Felipe is always happy to stop for the occasional break should the area become too sensitive and always gives honest advice about when to rebook further treatments and aftercare so not all about taking your money like some salons do. He genuinely puts the customers welfare first as sometimes I want to book another appointment again quickly after a treatment as I’m anxious to be able to wet shave and become more sociable again but his advice is always right (which I hate to say 😂) so if you have hairs where you don’t want I would say book a consultation with Felipe ASAP and you won’t regret it! 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
